Big Baby is Joe Butera's inaugural typeface and LLT Group is proud to support it. What is a typeface? Simply put a typeface is a set of characters that share a common design, such as fonts more common to the reader like Arial, Times New Roman, etc. Big Baby has it's own unique style that sets it apart from any other font in the world. With careful craftsman ship and many hours Joe was able to create a masterpiece.
Creating A typeface is not an easy task. It takes dedication and patience. Joe started his process the old fashion way with "pencil and paper." He would sit down, put his headphones on and draw glyphs. Joe spent six weeks alone drawing out different glyphs (letters of the alphabet) over and over until he found something that he loved. After a few weeks went by, he went back over his drawings and circled the best ones. From there, he started to draw out the rest of the alphabet. When he was satisfied with all of the glyphs, he was ready to make his creation come to life. Joe spent the rest of his free time creating his typeface on his computer. After 2 months Big Baby was Born.
